2014 Sprinter 519cdi tilt and slide for sale. Chassis extension carried out to longer than factory lwb, to accommodate the long body without excessive rear overhang. Painted Mercedes silver inside and out, body built by Dragon Fabrications. 18ft hydraulic body, powered by engine mounted PTO. Wireless operation as well as manual spools in rearmost side locker.

Led beacons, working lights and 13,500lb winch with synthetic rope. Towbar and 13pin canbus electric kit. And the van itself has. Changed to double passenger seat from single.

Stage 1 remapped but avon tuning. Pulls very well indeed, especially when loaded and towing. Carpeted bulkhead, rear window added.

Cruise control retrofitted however Ive not had it activated. Any MB dealers can do this. Euro 6 3.0 engine with adblue. 14 A4 pages of history from the ambulance service, despite the mileage it drives amazingly. It has had one of everything in its time, being what it was they are maintained meticulously.

Also has a retarder fitted, an extra electromagnetic brake in the driveline. Of course if you dont want this, it can be removed and a normal rear section of prop fitted. Theyre mega heavy so will probably make it 200kg lighter too. As it has the retarder, V6 and auto box, it is eligible to be uprated both in the gross weight and train weight too if you wished to do so.

Being as its an ex ambulance, it has no speed limiter or tacho (which for breakdown recovery you dont require anyway). Its also still down as colour yellow and vehicle type ambulance on logbook so upto new owner to change.
