Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Camper SWB High Top

  

Hello, we are putting up for sale our Mercedes Sprinter SWB High Top which we have been converting into a camper. We have got pretty close to the end result however we simply just don't have the time to go and explore once its done. The van is at a level now where it's easy for the new owner to put there own touches on it, see below for the work carried out.

We have loads of pictures of the progress from when it started we can send anyone whos interested. The van also comes with a brand new 12v. Battery, lights, 12v Split charge system, new mattress and two brand new water tanks for the kitchen.

We started off with a normal SWB panel van and stripped off all the original ply-line and did the following. Deep clean of all panels. Built a wooden frame on the floor and filled with 250mm insulation board and sealed the edges with foil tape. Layed a custom cut piece of marine ply on the floor and covered in wood effect vinyl. Filled all the gaps in the walls with recycled plastic insulation. Vapour barriered all the walls with bubble insulation rolls. Insulated and vapour barriered the internal wheel arches with 250mm bubble insulation. Filled with 250mm insulation board and sealed the edges with foil tape. Professionally installed the roof vent. Repaired most dents, scratches and scuffs on the van to create a smooth and straight van for the wrap.

Wrapped the whole van is Satin Avery Dennison Green. First fixes all the electrical cables. Cladded the van (some cladding is still remaining which i'll be doing in the next few days). Last serviced in April 2021.

Since last MOT have had the front left suspension replaced (July 2021). All tyres have good tread. I'll be putting a new clutch and rear brakes on before it sells as there is a bearing that needs replacing in the clutch but i may as well replace the clutch while i'm at it.

Overall the van runs great. Body is overall in great condition, there is a dent in the plastic on the front bumper and some small dents on the bonnet from people leaning on it, but hasnt broke the paint. The Van is classed as a CAT D, it has been repaired since to a high standard. Id consider an offer, but nothing silly and no time wasters please.
