Mercedes Sprinter 313 lwb Campervan only 58k! Fully off grid
Mercedes Sprinter 313 Campervan LWB. Great condition van, only covered 58,000 miles, drives like new. Well serviced by myself and previous owners. I've spent the last two years converting this van to a high standard and have only used quality parts and materials. I've trimmed all the cupboards with ash as well as fitting an ash worktop so they will stand the test of time.
I've fitted a a large sink with a ceramic tiled wall behind for a more homely feel. All the cupboards have the latch lock catches fitted (so no cupboards opening while on the move) plus gas struts to hold them up. I've fitted a sliding wardrobe by the bed. There's a little toilet room which is fully lined with shower board and has a one piece fibre glass tray with drain outlet ready if you so choose to add a shower (I never found this necessary due to staying on campsites regularly). Everything in the van is run off a 320w German split cell solar panel with a quality solar charger which charges up two 110 amp batteries wired in parallel.
This is more than enough power to run everything plus charge everything. I've fitted a double USB socket in the kitchen as well as one by the bed. I've fitted a low power top of the range fridge which runs full time of the solar with no need for plug in or extra charging from the alternator. Also contains a freezer box for your ice lollies (works very well). There are two skylights fitted, the one in the front has a two way fan for climate control (keeps the van cool even on hot days).The one in the rear is fitted above the bed for good ventilation while sleeping (and viewing stars) it also has a blackout blind fitted. The van has been very well insulated and has also been insulated all round(including the floor) with reflective insulation completely sealed for to avoid any moister from living in the van being able to get the the skin of the van (this is important and often overlooked). The two front seats swivel around to face each other for dining or can swivel 180 degrees to make a more social area. Seats 4 comfortably 5 if needs be.
Extra storage under bench seat. I designed the van around being able to carry mountain bikes/surf boards in the garage compartment under the bed so you have good storage to carry around all your toys. The van itself is in great condition, being the later model it is completely sealed underneath from the factory with a rubber/wax layer. There unfortunately is a dent in the back door from the previous owner and also a spot of rust on the side panel at the back about the size of a 20p piece.
Other than that its in overall great condition. Van has been fitted with an alarm system as well as deadlocks on all of the doors. It also has an extra lock box fitter around the catalytic converter and another around the plug in point for the ECU. Also comes with a pedal lock box too.
