Ex -Ambulance converted to camper/Motorhome - MOTOR CARAVAN ON V5/LOGBOOK. If it is still advertised IT IS AVAILABLE. This is a unique vehicle, completed to a good standard, with top of the range equipment and accessories fitted. Vehicle reg - CX07 DTF (private plate was on vehicle, logbook now has old number plate back on it). 2148cc diesel Twin Turbo Auto.
It also had a full gearbox flush and oil change in September. Vehicle pulls well, drives great. Android touch screen stereo with dab, dvd player, satnav and Apple car play.
USB charging points and a battery voltage display (For vehicle battery only) are fitted. Internally, the living area has a kitchen unit, with a Fiamma 70L water tank, supplying a smev sink/hob. A shoreflo pump and accumulator supplying the water. Internal 25L waste water tank.
Both have gauges to indicate levels. Both Hot and Cold water is available through an LPG instant water heater mounted in a rear locker. This can be used outside with a shower attachment for access to hot water (Useful for washing up outside after a BBQ) or if you are brave enough you could shower outside! Eberspacher D4 diesel heater fitted with a timer controller so you can set like your house heating, on and off at times you choose.
Handy for those cold mornings away. This was serviced last year and had a new fan motor, gaskets and seals and glow plug. Also within this kitchen unit is a Dometic CRX50 compressor fridge.Uber efficient and quiet and runs off 12V. All windows and skylight have blackout blinds and all rear windows are black tinted factory fit. You cannot see inside the rear unless it's dark and the interior lights are on.
Fiamma F45S awning and external gas point fitted. Original ambulance interior ambulance lights still installed and working but I have installed various LED lights. Some dimmable, some colour changing around the living area. Victron solar display/monitor also fitted. 2000W Inverter (might be 2500 or 3000W will have to check as cant remember) with remote which powers a pop up 230V plug socket unit with USB's so you can always have mains to hand when off grid.Numerous other 230V sockets around the vehicle when on hook-up, including pop-up socket with USB. A number of USB sockets fitted around the vehicle working off the 12V system so no problem charging devices. All blue lights have been removed but I have fitted some amber ones instead on the front. Oodles and oodles of storage, too much to list.
In fact I often lose stuff in there as I can't remember where I put it! Externally there is a huge Fiamma F45S awning fitted. There is also an external gas BBQ point fitted. Numerous external lights/ scene lights, a huge LED lightbar and spots and recently replaced the high level lights with "Audi" style sweeping indicators. All electrics/lights/spotlights work as they should.
Air assist suspension kit (aftermarket) fitted to rear. Reduces body roll and gives a smoother ride. 2 reversing cameras fitted, one pointing down and one to the rear, displayed on a screen in the front, pretty much used as a rear mirror as permanently live when vehicle is on.2 further cameras could be fitted if required. Front DRL's fitted, ladder on the rear door to get onto the roof which is solid and you can walk on it, fit a deck if you fancy and there are brackets/hangers for Fiamma cycle carrier also fitted on the rear door. The carrier might be available separately as not yet decided if the new van is having one.
Bullbar, bonnet deflector and sun visor fitted. All in all, an amazing vehicle, unique, quirky and different, but please remember this is not a new vehicle, has a few age related marks and is a self build. There are a couple of rust spots on the cab bodywork which I have not got round to doing (Typical sprinter places) but none on the modular box as made from aluminum. On the whole the body is pretty good. Please note, this is a twin wheel C1 vehicle, weighing over 3.5T and personally, I don't think it would be viable to down-plate.
Originally, as an ambulance it was 5T with the tail lift etc but as it stands it weighs about 4T loaded. Therefore you will need the C1 category on your license to drive. Gas bottle also NOT INCLUDED in the sale.Last picture is the vehicle when I collected it. Stupid ones will be ignored.
